MV – SCALEUP is a Maker Village programme that supports electronics hardware/IoT startups to generate scale up opportunities. Startups that are on the cusp of becoming scale-ups in terms of having market validated products and generated revenue or partnerships will be able to leverage the industry-grade facilities, corporate and VC connections as well as mentorship programs at Maker Village to launch themselves into the next level of business growth and product maturity. Applications for admission to Maker Village will be made in the name of registered entity within the meaning of the Companies Act, 2013.

Program Highlights

- Startups in market validated products or those in DFM stage.
- Consulting support from experienced consultants, business leaders, academia etc in developing scalable business models and strengthening of sales and pitch strategies
- Access to funding opportunities including Venture Capital connects and events like Demo Day.
- Equity-free grants and seed loan funding for selected startups
- Infrastructure facilities such as physical office space, computing & communication facilities, fabrication and 3D printing machines and specific software on demand.
- IT Support: Online platform for HR, Cloud credits
- Cash and grants:
  * Upfront cash of Rs. 5 lakhs (Rs. 2.5 lakhs for virtual incubation)
  * Application for EIR (30K/m) in first six months

You are Eligible to apply if ?

- Direct applicants or MV COMMERCE Graduates or Any grant award winners
- IP and Product Based Start-ups in the field of electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) domain
- Proposals with clear Market/ User validation
- Proposals with potentials for strong identifiable involvement or interaction with IIITMK faculty
- Proposals which will have high growth potential, social and strategic impact
- Proposals supported by any of GoI (central/state) initiatives, where Incubation support is a requirement.
