The incubatees will be provided soldering stations, Multimeters , function generators, DSO etc for the development of their product and all types of tinkering.
The incubator will house advanced equipments for measurement and testing like Mixed Domain Oscilloscope, LCR meter, Bench top Multimeter etc , high-end workstations for product design and 3D printers for prototype development
A 25000 CPH assembly line for SMT boards will be developed with the aim of assembly of PCB so that startups can develop their final products of the highest quality
The centre will have all major opensource boards like Arduino, Raspberry pi, Beagle Bone , Intel edison, IOT boards , actuators, robotic kits , sensors etc that would enable rapid protoyping for the startups
An annexe is being inaugurated at IIITMK’s IoT lab inside the IIITMK Campus, Technopark for the benefit of local startups who can be incubated in the Trivandrum Region.
Pre incubation stage mainly focuses on ideation stage, where technologist having a potential innovative idea can be provided with a co working space and limited access to equipments and allied facilities.
Companies start product development to build a market viable prototype and prepare themselves for marketing. The Electronics Incubator at this stage will allot them specific seats/modules along with funds in the range of 1 to 2 Lakhs INR for promising incubatees with right mentorship.
Accelerator stage will be a business tools box and a holistic business advisory service, for the startups. . The startups shall be presented to VC’s and investors and the electronics incubator arrange an investment in ten companies in a year upto a maximum of 40 Lakhs INR depending on market viability and innovativeness of the product
